green team play

 Today we went to a play at Ilminster not gisborne intermidiat Ilminster. I swiftly climbed into the bus and before I could blink we were there.If you don't know what ilminster looks like a bright school with yellow at most of the I was so exited, a woman told us to sit down and the play started. Gradma kōura told them a story after that she said:'' well its bed time''. ''Aww'' said the grandchildren. The first one whent to bed and the second one stayed, she said PLEASE gramdma PLEASE IM BEGING YOU. Well ok, what story how I saved the world from aliens or... yes that one the grandchild rudely interupted

year 6 Speach finals

 It was finn now as all the year 5s and 4s have done there speaches I saw finn get on stage he looked so nerviose. Everybody cheared and he started. He said ''Hi and for those of you who don't now my name is Finn and I want you to Imagine another version of the olympic games, preferably with a focus on equally important skills such as art and gaming; battling it out at the olympic games (the gaming games)''. I thought he was too nerviose. I cheared. Someone named tre said he could not do it but finn came into the finals to enshoure he won but finn got second.

L3 Reading. LI: Various Text types

 Today I was in a work shop with Koka Pip and we looked in our books and tryed to figure out what text type it was, structure it used and language features is in them. I saw a sticky note that said: Pg 11 Practising for my film audition. I turned to page 28 then turned back a few pages. I came to 11 and did expect there to be 5 pages but no 1 page not even one more like a sentance. I swiftly figured out It was a poem. It had past tence and future tence, if that makes sence to you? We then had to put it in a blog. Thanks for listening.

The origin hamana-tua-awa

Yesterday we walked to Hamana-tua and If you did not know is our schools awa wich means river or stream. Then here is were it got enteresting.We also had to go to were we think it starts. The trip then started. We crossed the street and started walking along the houses I was talking to Amber and Millie about the modern houses and the ones I would live in. My personal favorites was a grey two story house with a black roof and a house that kinda looks like a cross. Not soon after we arived and we followed till we got to the next road then the next and not long after we are at winnefred road. I was tired but I keeped on moving.

Yay we are here. 

Bok choy

Jacob was helping his Mother stack firewood Ah sum shouted out. Ah sum is a old man next door from, Jacob.The old man bowed his head to Jacob's mom and gave her the bok choy. I don't know how you can eat that muck,'' said Mrs Bishop. She had William to beat her carpet.William looked at Jacob once their mothers left . ''Chinaman,'' William said putting down the carpet beater.''I hate those Chinese cabbages, too,'' said Jacob. Jacob knew he would get more people not talking to him at the school house. He was grumpy with Ah Sum for making him look bad. He went fishing to get away from William. When he got to the river he fell in.

Jacob started blacking out. He shouted but not a single person heard him. Jacob fully blacked out. He waked up he realised he was in a dark room and saw an old man huddled over a fire. The man turned around. He came to realise the man was Ah Sum. Jacob tried to get up but Ah Sum said to rest. Jacob asked were his mother was. Then Ah Sum replied she will be here soon just rest. Ah Sum offered him a hot drink. While Jacob was taking little sips Ah sum supported his head with his hand.''Walking home, I saw you beyond the rocks in the water almost drowning. Jacob looked at Ah Sum and realised his trousers were completely soaked. Jacob softly said " thank you for saving me".

At a part of the hut Jacob saw paintings and pictures of a man and a woman. Ah Sum was talking about his beliefs and ancestors. Mother came soon after that, and was invited in by Ah Ling. ''Are you alright?" Mother said." Ah Sum saved me'' Jacob said. They asked Ah Sum if he wanted coins for his troubles he rejected. They walked away to the path of their cottage. They were stopped by Mrs Bishop. Well look what the cat dragged to," she said.

''Jacob was rescued by the chinese vegetable man'' said Jacobs mom. ''Watch the chinaman'' and Mrs Bishop. ''Whatever do you mean'' said Jacobs mom.'' He'd probably sell his own mom if he's given the chance,'' said Mrs Bishop.'' I hope your not a eating that muck,'' aded Mrs Bishop.''Its called bok choy,'' said Jacobs mother. She took Jacobs hand and took him to their cottage. 

LOCKDOWN is over!

Yay! lockdown is over I am back at school and I've had so much fun seeing my friends, but I am pretty exhausted.Here is a poem I did for my quickwrite: I'm back at school It has been fun for some reason there is barely any sun, then I even have to run and I saw someone's mum.

I hate lockdown it was so boring.I have no siblings so I was kinda lonely.I did so much gaming.I played fortnite, fifa, totally reliable delivery service, Apex legends, sea of thieves and call of duty. I read half of 1 book and did more gaming.I drawed a lot of noses to improve in drawing noses.

 Lockdown is so boring but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. I have been drawing in lockdown, but only faces and a lot of noses.It has been a fun lockdown me and mum baked a chocolate cake and when I say me and mum I mean I ate the some of the cake and brought her like 3 ingredients.

I am so bored I could eat the worlds sweetest cookie and my tastebuds will feel nothing. Maybe my cat will help? My cat scratched me do not try this at home unless you have a dog but if it is a chihuahua RUN! I am bored I am very bored ''sigh''. Maybe I can  do something fun like gaming later I don't know ever that can be boring. Maybe go outside into our yard that could work? But wait there's more boredom.

Oh I forgot to say but L2 of lockdown it gonna be here Thursday. See ya bey. =]

LOCKDOWN!!!

COVID has been bad Because I can't see my friends but once again everyone can't expect it to go away now that it's 2021. I feel scared because I went to my moms office and there was like 6 to 7 people, and mom had a meeting we had to wear masks she had a meeting with only 6 to 7 people though. Covid has had bad turns but the family bonded more.But wait there's more. a

We have to do google meets and It has been fun but COVID 19 is bad because innocent people get sick.COVID is bad to me because we have been baking and have so many lollies and chocolate so Im gonna have to do A LOT OF EXERCISE  and that is gonna be PAINFUL. LOCKDOWN is so boring but at least I can talk to finn on my game chat.I'm lonely since I'm a ONLY CHILD.IF I had a sibling I would be entertained but we would fight.

Mangaone Station

I came to school and sat down on the mat, in my class.Koka Rozie said we're going to Mangaone. Mangaone Is a farm were they shed sheep, clean wool, sell wool and more!I love to mangone but I was sick we the whole class was excited I told Koka Rozie I was sick so she said I'm still going but I don't have to plant a tree if I don't want to.

We all went outside to find our parent driver my driver was Betsy's Dad. I was in  the car with Nathan, Betsy, Olly, Myself and Betsy's Dad. We played eye spy on our way. When everybody arrived the kids explored the shedding station.The adults were just talking. Then Koka Rozie said to listen quickly and made a planting group and mulching group I was in planting and she said  to not get wet. I noticed I had a big hole in my gumboot. We then went there to plant and mulch. The path was a little muddy but I was careful. I sat down on the grass for about 30 minutes and than I planted a tree! Basically rite after I planted a tree we had lunch but the adults got banana cake. Then the students got some banana cake not all of them though because someone almost got fourths but got caught red handed.

Then we finished planting and mulching and BOOM!We had to climb a few tiny hills with gates to see the trees Wainui planted ages ago. Then the best part we got to see the LAMBS and on our way some of the kids sang this KORY HAD A LITTLE LAMB KORY HAD A LITTLE LAMB THE LAMB WAS REALLY CUTE ect. We got to hold lambs and we got to climb into  the place they kept them.

Neko acted like a lamb It was crack up.

 

My Quickwrite

There was smoke everywhere all the gold was stolen. The bank was completely poached of It's money and gold. {Detective Blake and his dog Hound} was on the case! "Let's find this evildoer" said Detective Blake.They went to investigate the crime scene, a person was tied up in the main vault.

This person claims to have seen the whole robbery but Detective Blake thinks he is amazingly suspicious. They untied him, the man admits to the crime then flees the building. The Detective hopped into his car and rushed to the guys house. He was found watching tv the man was then arrested and his house was searched but still no gold or money was found. They went to the hotdog stand near the bank and got hotdogs for there victory. They interrogated the suspect but this time Blake told his dog, Hound to search the scene for the money and gold.

As he was talking to the suspect about him stealing, the suspect said he didn't get interrogated before this then hound came in with a super realistic mask of the suspects head.

What happened this week

If had a very productive week and Monday & Tuesday was somehow the best and most productive days. I've had loads of fun this week and enjoyed doing loads of work, I had a tiny workshop with troy kobi and matua stefan. 

We had to fix a bike tire so troy and kobi took the bolts of the rim and used a tool I think it's called a spoke I forgot. Then we had to remove the cover of the pyp thingy that is inside the wheel and near the rim. The rim has stuff that look like tape it was to keep the rims spiky things from popping the inside of the wheel. Then I had to pop the wheel with a needle I didn't think it popped so I did it once again then stefan put a hole in it .Then we tried to see where the holes were we could not find holes so we went to the pool put it under water and there was two holes. 

So we went and prepared them then troy complaint and said something about the brake was wrong and he fixed it we were done I then went inside and his friend came in saying that I put four holes in his tyer I did not do that and know there blaming me for four holes and I just made two. Know I have to pay them money for something I didn't do. I didn't even want  to fix a tyre.     

my workshop progressions

 I have only done reading and writing workshops but I feel I have learnt a lot over the 2 terms. I have never had better teachers than this year Koka Pip always makes me work harder than before, Koka Rozie gives me positivity and Koka Ngaire is funny. I like going to workshops and think they are one the most important things of learning. I don't know that much but there's always more to learn , or something like that.

My story expectations

 

 I want to reach the expectations and use success criteria. When I find my work easier then I will glide through my learning and learn to work smarter not harder. I will try my best to try get to level 4 in my writing, maths or reading. I know I will be 100% positive for the future and always work with a smile on my face while learning. I wont get distracted in my learning. Most importantly I will use my timetable on my desk. I just want to be fully educated  and never say never. But my biggest goal is to be proud of my handwriting.

Once upon a time there was boy named Jack everyone is nice to Jack, even his Great Grandmother who is probably 1000000 years old.  Jack was trying to skip stones in a pond near his house he was mostly bullied and disliked at school by the King's son and his mates.In the background you could hear '' Ahh! screamed a lady.''

Here comes the flesh gobbler '' said a scottish man. ''Go away troll'' screamed a English man''. Jack saw Leo the king's son and ran as fast as he could. ''Get him'' said leo.'' Come here jack we won't hurt you'' he screamed.Jack ran into a wall at the corner Leo and his friends suddenly ran. ''Their probably scared of me'' Jack said.

 ''No they are not'' his Great Grandmother said, it's the troll behind you. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Jack screamed. ''It won't eat you Jack, trolls eating people is just silly old myths'' said his Great Grandmother. Well gran your probably 1000000 years old you don't know what your talking about. Don't boy, I will hit you with my broom. Ok sorry. Jack slowly touched the troll. Hi buddie. ''FI FY FO FUM'' said the troll and laughed at the people.

 Ahhhhh! screamed Jack. ''IM KIDDING'' said the troll. I DON'T EAT HUMANS I EAT TREES. Um less creepy Jack replied. ''You need to stop judging a book by it's cover ''said  his Great Grandmother. ''I know, I know ''Jack replied. 

Part one maybe

My bday

About  2 Days ago It was my birthday and this weekend its my birthday party and I'm so happy I got a baby yoda aka grogu and I got a gary the snail plush and I got a really big pilo and I got a phone ring and I got a pear of headphones and I got a  frog toy and I got a soup bowl toy. I'm so happy that I sang im gonna party like it was my birthday yay! i'm way too excited and happy I also got a anime toy. I'm so hyper and the days of the week go so fast now.Yay!

work progression

 I have not done too much but I have done a bit of work today it is a Monday and it is the 17 of may 8 days till my birthday which is so exciting, I cant wait till my Birthday ''Yay''. This term we are doing loads of research of little blue penguins and their predators, food and life span. I love blue penguins and have seen pictures but never in person in fact I love any animal except spiders and snakes, anyway back to the topic so a few weeks ago the whole of moana learning hub went to douglas street, I think and then we gave loads of flyers about the blue penguins with questions and the questions where have you seen a blue penguin? Where did you see it? When did you see it? My favorite part was the flyers.

My progression in the week

 I have done so much in the whole week, one I can name is I have been  really good and have not talked to anyone this term about stuff not about work except at lunch. I always come in a  happy mood and school has been amazing but I also had some down sides, Finn always wants to come talk and I want to talk but I turn him away because of work. Today I'm working on this blog and some maths whizz.

 Yesterday I did most of my groups and even got time to look at other groups to learn more. I basically consume knowledge but am really forgetful and often late so I don't get as much time to learn but I can finish work fast and mostly enjoy it. Most of the kids are good at doing maths questions really fast but, if I would to try it I'd talk absolute gibberish. I used to do so much work near other people that's how I got distracted now I work at a desk and do work hours faster and better.  I recheck my work all the time but Hunter always distracts me he just did it by nagging me to see something on maths whizz and it is distracting me. 

Sometimes everyone distracts me that sits by me, I hate sitting here. I just want to work that's what I'm here for and thats what i'm going to do. I have never done a blog so fast, this is my fastest one, this is almost done and its been ten minutes, my Mom always says that "If you try try again you can do anything.' and Koka Rozie always says "Amazing things happen when you try." I was under lining it because its smart and common sense.

She's caring, cute, scratches and plays its Kiki my cat. Kiki is a tortoiseshell cat that is now 1 years old { 7 in human years }. Kiki's biggest enjoyment is to run🐱. The biggest fact about my cat is she rolls over for treats and we didn't even train her, my mum even has her recorded rolling about 3 times.I think the biggest fact that my family knows I love Kiki. Kiki was pregnant 1, a manly gangster cat made her pregnant.One memory I had with kiki was when we got her at first I was in the car It was realy cold and we drove to the farm where she was born about a month ago. We finally got there and I picked her up for the first time I said It was a little cold so I told mum I would go back in the car I then raped her in her blanky I got from warehouse the week before. We then got home and ate pizza from dominos.

I then fed Kiki for the first time I was so happy and still have recordings of Kiki from when she was a tiny little kitty.

She was always really intelligent, { fact: Kiki when we first saw her we new she was the smartest because she was the only one who huddled with her brothers and sisters to get warm.THE END.

School is back !

  School is back! and it's week 3 or is it 4? I love school, and am super happy to be back.

This term all the students at Wainui Beach Kura are walking our pepeha. We have been to, Maungaroa, Hamanatoa and Ko poho o Rawiri/ our local Marae. Here we then heard song about Mama Panda and we got told about Maori culture.

I thought school would be awful, but once I got to see my friends, i felt excited and happy. It was so fun, we had early lunch and morning tea  I had no hat so I could not play. 

Hopefully 2021 is better than 2020. The whole of New Zealand was on level 3 because of COVID19. It got so out of hand, we had to do zoom calls and wear masks at public places. Most families in Germany had to have their Christmas celebrations over zoom because of COVID19. 

Back to the subject about school, we rode the bus o the Marae, and walked the rest. When we arrived the ground was so hot and my feet burnt the whole way.

 A young lady welcomed us into the building, they welcomed every body. We then sat on a green, black, white, nude and lime colored mat. Overall, I loved going to walk to the places of our pepeha.
